I agree. I'm relatively new to the whole cryptocurrency thing but it seems like some people think 6 months is a long term investment.
If you have the right plan for the technology it's best to make sure it's done right the first time.
So true. I've seen posts in reddit where a team hasn't given a substantial update in a week and people's ADD kicks in. I think the growth in crypto this year has given some people very unrealistic expectations about investments and the time it takes to build a solid technology platform (Not talking about anything i've seen for XBY, just other general crypto posts that you see from time to time).
I blame ICOs, they give a taste of risk but with instant gratification feedback loops that encourage "investors" to be impatient and unnecessarily vocal. Further, the volatility of the markets, and this never-ending bull run make just about everyone a winner. Why stop if it's clearly working? :-/
Roadmap looks exciting. Hope we can pull this off.
Hopefully everything goes well with the Testnet, so people can start buying those precious STATIC Nodes
waiting for mainnet
So much this!! Yes. We have been spoiled in crypto with massive gains in short periods of time. People seem to forget that many coins have long periods of time and take a lot of work to really get things moving. Dash, New Economy Movement, many more. It took time for them to become as successful as they are today.
I keep trying to remind myself of this. My dad was in investment banking for decades and he continually looks down at the gains being made in crypto, telling me its all going to burst, he's seen it all before several times over. I believe he's right, to an extent. But there is the fact that blockchain is new tech that is only now starting finding it's place in the world. Who can really say what it's worth is (or is going to be)? My reply to him is that no-one is being clever by predicting a bubble and burst. Every market on the planet has had them - shares, property, etc. The market will recover when it does happen.
Anyway, getting slightly off-track with what i originally intended to say, but as you said good tech takes time to develop. I'm not worried at all about price for the next year or two. We are still very much in the infancy of blockchain adoption. If XBY achieves what it intends then i expect to see it being a major player in the future.
Nice approach, i hope it will be executed as planned.
For me the modules part is the most interesting.
I prefer this way to operate instead of ICO's creating a new token.
This will surely benefit the XBY ecosystem.
What is the timeframe for this?
As always, no time frame can be placed on an experimental project. When it is done, it is done.
That's so true! XBY sounds to be experimental today, down the line we will the see things turning out to be true and the wide adaption of this platform
Once the tech is proven and the various aspects of xby become mainstream, the greater market won't be able to ignore us.
all these road maps coming out recently for all these coin makes me excited HAHA
good short term outloook
Nice, looking out for static registrations
Looking good that roadmap !
Am I correct by thinking that the X-change will be a wallet exchange?
If so.. will it only be Xbytes > Dollar or will other currencies be added to trade for?
Also talking in reverse
as I understood it first it will be the pair XBY/XFUEL and afterwards if the exchange works they will add more pairs and I am pretty sure XBY will be the main "Currency" so all other coins needs to be traded agains XBY.
