I am already a member of Era, do you not see the similarity in the forum software
Here it is...
I did actually when I saw the notifications pop up on here. Great forum software all around so a great choice.
I'm assuming these will be filled in a first come, first served basis?
Looking great! Great to see more positives form all the hard work that borz, Dave and the team are doing!
How i see this road map will be completed in this winter. Good job!
Can't wait to see where we are headed in one year.
Yes, it will be first come first served and the fees system will make it a bit cheaper to register before the next person. Each STATIC registration fee will increase with each registration. Each level starts with a ZERO fee and moves up each time to the final STATIC being the highest fee. This is designed to create a balanced network. Full details will be released later regarding these fees.
Good to see progress in the background. Looking forward to static node registration
i like it.
Looks good! Looking forward for the Statics go online.
Thanks for sharing..., fair enough...
So the info from a few months back is outdated now? I recall it was originally meant to be 100k additional XBY for level 1 registrations.
Lets put this info in bitcointalk thread People doesnt know still about this
Yes, there will be a new fees system revealed and ONLY the very last registered STATIC will be 100,000 XBY for the fee. The others will be incrementally cheaper with ZERO being the first registered STATIC in each level. Of course, this is not possible in Level 1, but levels 2 and 3 will have this first STATIC available when registration begins.
Thanks! Obviously I don't know what demand is going to be like at the time of registration, but if all the level 1 nodes were taken quickly and someone was to miss out, would getting 2 level 2 nodes work out roughly equivalent (I believe in terms of cost level 1 is 500k and level 2 is 250k each, I'm talking more in terms of returns/fees earnt - you don't have to be specific just a rough idea would be good to know).
We have not finalized this yet so it is best not to try to comment. But, it would be close to the same indeed.
I dont think you should set timescales even if you feel 100% positive they will be met. Seen timescales slip on other projects and it just creates FUD opportunities. Also seen timescales met but with broken product, creates worse FUD. 'As long as it takes' is the right way to go.
Totally agreed and this is why we don't do dates. Especially with this project being built from the ground up... its not possible to put time scales, we just keep working as hard as possible to get things done properly.
