If you look at the XBY rich list, you find there is a big wallet there. http://borzalom.hu/richlist.html Many people wonder who the whale is that owns this wallet. So, let's show you who the "whale" is: If you look at this very first rich-list, which was posted by Borzalom back in March, you will see that the very same wallet address back then had 649 million XBY. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1793468.msg18299506#msg18299506 This is almost all the coins... The reason for this is that we are looking at the XBY wallet for C-CEX. C-CEX is the exchange where XBY started and when Borzalom first forked the old Bitmox chain, he premined all the owned coins to this address so that C-CEX could credit all the accounts with the new "official" XBY tokens. This was obviously done by C-CEX duplicating all existing accounts with XTRABYTES coins and then the XTRABYTES chain continued forward, leaving the old Bitmox chain dead in its tracks, which also eliminated the old duplicate accounts with Bitmox coins. Today, this same wallet still exists (check the address) and even though there are much fewer coins, it's still the top wallet (for now). Why is this the case? That wallet is the C-CEX exchange wallet. The coins here are like "deposits" held by the wallet, while the coins you see on C-CEX are actually replicas in token form, which are used by the exchange for all transactions within their system. So, when you send to your C-CEX address, the real coins go to the address you see listed, but token replicas go to your C-CEX account wallet and all trade activity is done with these tokens. Later, when you want to remove your coins, you remove them from your C-CEX account wallet and they come from the real wallet that you see as the XBY top wallet currently. Eventually, this wallet could be reduced to nothing. It really depends what is happening with the people holding coins at C-CEX. Obviously there are still many people holding coins there for trading. Either that or they really do not understand crypto yet and need a lesson on the dangers of leaving your coins on an exchange, rather than your own desktop wallet and better yet, in cold storage where they are 100% safe from hackers. Please read: https://community.xtrabytes.global/threads/secure-your-coins.268/ If you wish to further verify, you can simply access our trade platform at C-CEX: https://c-cex.com/?p=xby-btc and then switch the chart over to the "Balance Distribution" setting. Here you can count the amount of coins in each replica wallet on their system and you will see it matches with the amount listed on the address on our rich-list that holds the real XBY coins. Hope this helps!
