For a general knowledge of our community:
what are the prerequisites for listing different exchanges

    a. costs?
    B. other prerequisites

I'll try to think of some exchanges from scratch just now:

    1. bitrex
    2. cryptopia
    3. liqui
    4. kraken

Even though xtrabytes own exchange is coming, I believe listing on different exchanges would greatly increase awareness of XBY and also the price since new people would be buying.. and possibly contribute one way or another to the community as well

We are already on Cryptopia. At this point, the whole focus is on developing the tech. Once that is ready, we will submit XBY to big exchanges.

The big money ICOs in the past year have meant some projects are willing and able too throw silly amounts of money to get onto bigger exchanges. I'm sure we can apply to bigger exchanges once the tech is done but another good idea is to stay ahead of the curve and try to get on smaller upcoming exchanges like Kucoin. 2018 will also be year of in-wallet decentralised exchanges. Wallets like Bitquence and Eidioo for example seem to be the way the market in trading is going so building bridges with these kind of projects will bear fruit later.

Bittrex would be great, does anyone know the cost for something like Bittrex? XBY is surely better than most of the crap coins that are on there.

Bittrex and, to some extent, Poloniex have been having unnecessary amount of "trouble" with Bitshares, Steem, bitUSD and SBD, pretty much assets tied to a decentralized exchange platform. And EOS people have chosen to list to Kraken and Bitfinex primarily, probably at least partially for these reasons. If Bittrex sees X-Change as serious competition, there might be a lot of weird wallet trouble and other harmful stuff

Good to hear the focus is on the right things. Looking forward to see the development.

I would like to see XBY on Bittrex too, but maybe is better plan to stay on some smaller exchanges like 'Fatoshi' said above.

actually, it is not easy to get listed in some big popular exchanges cause they require a lot, especially Binance, kraken and other giants
